Political Satire in photography

Politicians and people with power should be questioned and checked and if need be ridiculed.

Regardless of ones political point of view.

If one cant visualize those he idolizes in a critical way, one cannot create politically correct political satire.

I will be Show casing some Satirical parodies which are based off of already existing arts, movies or propaganda posters.

I Will be looking at Falk Photo and his work within political satire via the mediums of photography and digital image manipulation techniques.

"November 8, 2017 marked the beginning of a new age."

in this image we see the statue of liberty framed in a tight closeup of her face, which is twisted in what seems to be agony, pain, sadness and miscontent.

Under her left eye we can see that the artist has composited in a tear drop.

within this tear drop we see the President of the united states donald trump.

Behind Lady Liberty we can see parts of the American flag, more than parts we see fragments - this could be a reference of how donald trump is dividing the states and breaking up the country.
