To Discuss color theory I will be taking the movie The Matrix as an example where I will be discussing the main 5 colors which are found in the movie and the different meaning behind these colors - as this movie has multiple depths every color holds its own subliminal meaning.
The first color I will be breaking down is the color green - the obviously represents the matrix and the mind, being the iconic color for the movie series green is usually associated with the future and freedom - something one can have within the matrix. Limitless freedom.
The second color I will be discussing is the color blue - this is the "real world" and this represents life and the body - blue being an unflattering color is used to show the real harsh world within the movie saga.
the third color I will be talking about id the color yellow - this color is usually associated with holiness and spirituality, exactly what it means within the move saga, yellow represents the spirits in the series. many times in the Matrix Revolutions we can see shots from the two perspectives those being the real and the spirit.
The fourth color which I will be going over is the color red - the worldwide known symbol which stands for evil, this is exactly what it portrays in the matrix saga, it is the symbol for corruption, evil and hell - Blue Pill Red Pill.
The final color which I will be discussing is the color white which in the movie series points towards grown and mysterious sources of power, this color usually comes around when the main protagonist of the movie makes a major shift i0n his growth as a person - this color could be also connected to the purity of some characters like seraph or switch
