Boogie

Photographer boogie was born and raised in Serbia during the time of the rebellions, unrest and civil wars during the 1990’s, due to him growing up in this country with these conditons his style of photography evolved to be on the darker side of things both aesthetically and both within the messages conveyed in his images.

Boogie has 6 publications shot all around the world along with exhibitions in oaris, Los Angeles, Milan, Istanbul and many more.

Boogies images tend to be very raw and powerful both when he is shooting street or documenting different cultures and countries.

Boogie shoots both film and digital, but mentions he has a preference to film as you have to think about the shot much more as you're limited to only 36 shots.

In an interview with boogie he was asked whether or not he does research about the subject or place he is shooting, be it shooting a gang or a strange country that he has never been in, his reply was that while shooting gangs you cannot compose the shot but you have to act quick when the frame(shot) Arises, and his reply when shooting a foreign place hes never been was “I usually don’t even know where I am on the map”
